About The Position

A1M Solutions is hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve complex, accessible, performant, and maintainable user-facing applications with minimal guidance. The role applies deep expertise in frontend architecture and modern web development to turn user needs, design systems, and product requirements into reliable, intuitive digital experiences. Senior engineers help break complex or ambiguous goals into feasible steps aligned with broader system strategy. Formal management responsibilities are not necessarily part of the role, but teaching and coaching are essential. The position is part of A1M’s Technology Delivery Practice, which plans, builds, and maintains client solutions using programming and scripting. Staff work in cross-functional, cross-organizational teams with designers, product managers, data analysts, policy experts, and other collaborators. A1M’s work focuses on improving government healthcare programs and public services, and on helping partner teams develop agile, user-centered practices. This is a fully remote, full-time, permanent position. Employees must work from the United States, have been U.S. residents for three of the past five years, and cannot reside in New York State. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States without ongoing visa sponsorship and must be permanent U.S. residents. New hires must complete a Public Trust background investigation and fingerprinting. Client virtual meetings, including camera participation, are an essential function. Partners primarily work on Eastern Standard Time, so schedule flexibility is required for employees outside that time zone. The salary range is $125,000–$155,000. The range reflects the full range for someone in the position over time, and a new hire may not start at the top of the range.
