Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC. This role will drive moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments and contribute to large scale planning of strategies. The engineer will design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. This position will review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures, and resolve moderately complex issues. The role involves leading a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals is essential. The role will support DevSecOps accelerator functions across WIMT for both creating Capabilities (Tooling, Frameworks, Training) and driving adoption strategy and priority. The engineer will apply technology background in software engineering, SRE, multi-Cloud platform management, DevOps, CI/CD, and Continuous Testing to deliver and introduce new technology capabilities and drive DevOps value in a multi-cloud technology landscape. This includes the development of standards and best practices including, Branching, Quality Gates, Deployment, How to build a Testable/scalable code/architecture, TDD, BDD. Adoption of Enterprise tooling and the CICD pipeline, working with quality automation / shift left approach / Software Security best practices (SecOps) are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
  • 4 years of experience in application development and implementation experience.
  • 2 years of Java or Python experience.
  • 2 years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience.
  • 2 years of experience in front end application development, operations and automation using React, Redux, AngularJS and Node.
  • 2 years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server.
  • 2 years of experience in Automation and Continuous Integration-Continuous Development (CI-CD) of Full Circle applications.
  • 2 years of DevOps experience.
