Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
Support day-to-day operations and incident resolution on TSYS-related platforms. Design, code, test, and implement enhancements and changes to mainframe applications. Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Perform impact analysis and provide estimates for development work. Participate in system integration and regression testing. Maintain and enhance batch and online processing environments. Create and maintain technical documentation. Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and internal standards. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation.
- Five (5) years of experience in VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method)
- Five (5) years of experience in COBOL
- Five (5) years of experience in JCL
- Five (5) years of experience in TSO/ISPF
- Five (5) years of experience in Batch job scheduling including Control-M and CA7
- Five (5) years of experience in DB2 or IMS databases
- Five (5) years of experience in Using Mainframe software change management tools including Endevor, Changeman, or PanAPT
- Five (5) years of experience in NDM/FTP/SFTP processes and data transmission protocols
- Five (5) years of experience in Troubleshoot abends and performance issues
- Three (3) years of experience in TSYS architecture and Credit Card platform components, including Prime, FDR, or other TSYS services
- Three (3) years of experience in TSYS transaction processing modules
- Three (3) years of experience in Navigating and extracting data from TSYS systems
- Three (3) years of experience in TSYS file layouts, tables, and API integration
- Three (3) years of experience in CICS (Customer Information Control System)
- Three (3) years of experience in Easytrieve for report generation and data analysis
- Three (3) years of experience in Working across a mix of legacy and modern tools including File Aid and LeanFT test automation
