About The Position

Cotiviti is a leading solutions and analytics company that leverages unparalleled clinical and financial datasets to deliver deep insight into the performance of the healthcare system. These insights uncover new opportunities for healthcare organizations to collaborate to improve their financial performance, reduce inefficiency, and improve healthcare quality. The Sr Software Engineer is primarily responsible for the support of the existing software applications and enhance software components deployed in the Cotiviti product suite. The successful candidate will be required to collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements

BS or MS Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
4-5 years of industry experience.
Must have 2+ years’ Healthcare data experience.
Strong C#/.NET experience, including exposure to Blazor or comparable component-based .NET web frameworks — enough depth to evaluate, integrate, or replatform an existing Blazor application, not just read about it.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS services: App Service/Web Apps, API Management, Logic Apps (or equivalent workflow/integration orchestration), Key Vault, and Azure-managed relational databases (Postgres or SQL).
Experience with enterprise identity platforms (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, or similar) — specifically SSO, MFA, and SCIM-based provisioning, not just "RBAC in general."
Experience integrating with third-party SaaS systems via REST APIs and webhooks (e.g., ticketing/ITSM platforms like Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk) — bidirectional sync patterns specifically.
Proficiency working with large datasets.
4-5 years' experience with relational databases.
4-5 years' experience working with ETL processes.
Optimization and tuning of SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
4-5 years' experience with Java frameworks or .Net Framework.
Knowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools.
Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support and enhance high quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite.
Analyze and resolve software related issues originated from internal or external customers.
Documents the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll out.
Demonstrates proficient working knowledge of the primary discipline and a developing knowledge of related disciplines.
Executes solutions enhancements to improve performance / availability.
Communicates technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner.
Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems.
Explores new ideas and makes innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results.
Continuously improves and enhances knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite.
Execute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement.
Mentor other developers.
Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
