Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology driven field.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering robust, scalable web applications.
  • 5+ years of development experience using high-level programming languages, with at least 3 years focused on Python.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL databases, preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • 3+ years of experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). AWS preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working with sensitive data (PII) and applying best practices for data security and privacy at scale.
  • Experience building applications in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-availability applications across the full stack.
  • Work with a variety of programming languages and data stores, adapting to the best tools for the job.
  • Implement and manage integrations with various cloud environments, demonstrating expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Ensure the secure handling of sensitive data (PII), applying industry best practices for data privacy and security at scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce software quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose ways to incorporate them into our solutions.
