About The Position

Campus is seeking product-minded senior software engineers to help build the future of the company. This role involves owning meaningful product problems and building software that directly impacts students, faculty, and internal teams. Successful candidates will contribute to various product areas, including Learning (core educational experience, AI tools), Growth (student discovery, application, and enrollment), and Student Experience (products for student success throughout their educational journey). The role requires close collaboration with product managers, designers, operators, and other engineers to create products with a measurable impact on students and the future of education.

Requirements

4-6 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong backend development skills
Experience with Go, Python, React or similar is especially valuable
Proven track record of building and releasing high-quality products or features at scale
Ability to take ownership from design to deployment, balancing speed with maintainability
Motivated to deepen craft, learn new technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Value working across disciplines and bring a low-ego, team-first attitude
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring new H-1B sponsorship
H-1B transfers and TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican citizens can be supported

Responsibilities

Build products used by thousands of students, faculty, and staff
Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams
Take ownership of product outcomes, not just technical implementation
Move quickly and iterate based on feedback
Use modern AI tools to accelerate development and experimentation
Own features and projects from idea to production
Contribute across the stack including frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure
Balance long-term thinking with pragmatic execution
