About The Position
As a Senior Software Engineer at BrainGu, you will serve as a technical cornerstone for our Mission-Apps-as-a-Service offering, architecting resilient and high-scale software solutions. This Senior Software Engineer position requires a deep commitment to excellence in engineering, driving innovation across the development lifecycle to meet critical mission objectives. By collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure our applications maintain the high-security standards and performance levels necessary for our clients' success. Furthermore, you will provide mentorship to emerging talent, leveraging your seasoned expertise to enhance the team's collective technical proficiency and deliver impactful results.
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in developing complex web applications using modern technologies.
- 7+ years of advanced knowledge in both front-end and back-end development, with experience in React and Python/Django, and CI/CD environments.
- Demonstrated ability to architect scalable and resilient solutions, with a keen understanding of architectural patterns and frameworks.
- Strong commitment to code quality, security, and performance optimization, with experience implementing best practices and mentoring others in these areas.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define product requirements, scope technical deliverables, and shape the product roadmap.
- US Government Clearance may be required, which requires US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 180 days of hire.

- Advanced proficiency in React.
- Advanced expertise in Python/Django.
- Strong skills with CI/CD practices and tools.
- Experience with Docker for application containerization.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
