About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer at Baylor Genetics, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience with large-scale or complex systems.
• Software development experience and proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or C#.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Proficiency with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with commonly used frameworks such as .NET, React, and Angular.
• Proficiency with version control systems and software development tools.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical diagnostics, genomics, or NGS environments.

Responsibilities
