About The Position

Fusion Technology is seeking a Security-cleared Professional with an active Top Secret (TS) Clearance for a Senior Software Engineer position. The role involves creating and maintaining data applications and tools that support the data integration process, troubleshooting Web Services Description Languages (WSDLs), Java KeyStore (JKSs), security certificates, and encryption usage. The engineer will work with web services (SOAP and RESTful), develop and troubleshoot software using Python, PHP, and JavaScript, and configure computer systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux. Experience in developing and maintaining software data integration tools using Java, Python, and C#, as well as creating and maintaining databases (PostgreSQL, Linux SQL, SQLite, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and Oracle) is required. Proficiency in configuring thin client executable code with SFTP for XML files, installing and configuring HTTPS web servers (cloud and on-premises), and managing Java Servlets and JSP (Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server) is necessary. Experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, and DTD, maintaining Java applications, and creating APIs for information sharing is also crucial. The role includes producing data integration applications to a specified XML format, maintaining SFTP data connections, and hands-on experience with FedRAMP-compliant AWS and Azure Cloud, along with knowledge of LE data and IEPD specifications.

Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance required.
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience in development.
Experience creating and maintaining data applications and tools that support the data integration process.
Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and assisting agencies with Web Services Description Languages (WSDLs), Java KeyStore (JKSs), security certificates, and encryption usage.
Experience with web services, including SOAP and RESTful protocols.
Strong background in developing and troubleshooting software tools, applications, and utilities using languages such as Python, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), and JavaScript.
Experience configuring and maintaining computer systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.
Experience in developing and maintaining software data integration tools, requiring experience in Java, Python, and C#.
Experience in creating and maintaining databases, including PostgreSQL, Linux SQL, SQLite, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and Oracle.
Proficient in configuring thin client executable code that utilizes SFTP to send XML files.
Experience in installing and configuring Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) web servers, both in the cloud and on-premises, to handle static and dynamic web content and manage Java Servlets and JSP, such as Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server.
Experience with transforming languages and schemas, including XML, XSLT, XSD, and DTD.
Knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting various Java applications while creating Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to facilitate information sharing efforts.
Experience producing data integration applications from various data sources to a specified XML data format, using data standards and validation tools.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting SFTP data connections.
Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, particularly FedRAMP-compliant Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud.
Knowledge of LE data and IEPD specifications.

Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
Install and upgrade computer components and software.
Manage virtual servers.
Integrate automation processes.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing issues, and assessing their impact.
Develop, maintain, and utilize automated tools to support all components of data integration services.
Support and maintain web services and SFTP connections.
Develop and use various ETL products and other automated data integration tools.
Recommend and implement standardization in the data integration process.
Develop, maintain, and upgrade existing data integration projects, including new vendor solutions.
