Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure Security Platform
About The Position
Atoms is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Infrastructure Security Platform. The role focuses on building and improving the security platform that protects Atoms’ products and customer data, including identity, access management, and data compliance. You will collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to make security controls easy to integrate and responsive to evolving security and product needs. You will also improve service reliability and performance through testing, monitoring, and incident response. The role is based onsite in Atoms’ Seattle office five days a week. The base salary range is $167,000–$230,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications; equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus may also be available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Strong backend programming fundamentals with Java or Go.
- Sound architectural judgment and system design skills.
- Solid track record of shipping critical systems to production.
- Familiarity with modern cloud computing, orchestration platforms, and modern identity standards, such as Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth2, and OIDC.
