About The Position

At Luminize, we help brands win. As one of the top 5 Amazon sellers in the US, our physical operations are as critical as our digital ones. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (P3) to lead the evolution of our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You’ll play a central role in building the operational platform that manages our workflows, shipping, and inventory tracking at scale.

Requirements

5+ years of experience building full-stack systems in production environments (GCP focus).
Deep expertise in Node.js / TypeScript and PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, and query optimization).
Demonstrated skill in building responsive web UIs with React optimized for various devices.
Proven track record of migrating legacy systems to modern stacks and working with event-driven architectures.
A "detective" mindset—the ability to identify architectural flaws and define technical needs even when requirements are vague.

Nice To Haves

Experience with WMS, ERP applications, or fulfillment logistics is highly preferred.
Exposure to large datasets and modern data tools like BigQuery or Snowflake.

Responsibilities

Architectural Evolution: Partner with the Platform Architect to enhance our current WMS and design the next-generation warehouse platform.
Modernize Infrastructure: Lead the migration of legacy functionality (Google Apps Script/Sheets) into a modern backend architecture using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
Full-Stack Development: Design and implement robust backend services, APIs, and integrations that power real-time inventory and order fulfillment.
Operational Resilience: Improve system observability, logging, and monitoring to ensure the platform thrives during high-volume peaks.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Translate complex warehouse processes into scalable software and collaborate with nearshore developers to deliver high-quality features.
Documentation & Mentorship: Document system architecture and technical workflows to reduce operational risk and improve maintainability across the team.
