Senior Software Engineer (Partial Telework)
About The Position
GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of our subcontracts. This full-time position involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract. The role requires architecting and implementing a monitoring and alerting solution for a complex system using Prometheus and Grafana to visualize business outcomes and alert on critical mission functions. GliaCell Technologies focuses on Software & System Engineering in Enterprise and Cyber Security solution spaces, utilizing Agile Software Development principles to deliver stable and reliable software solutions. Our enterprise capabilities include Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. We also provide solutions in CND, CNE, and CNO, including assessments and solutions in Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Preventing Advanced Persistent Threats.
Requirements
- Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 7 years).
- 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 7 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Works well independently as well as on a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and Cloudwatch
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot and Lambda functions
- Understanding of AWS services to include EC2, S3 and event router
- Understanding of software architecture and micro service concepts.
