About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with product owners, squad leads, and architecture to drive technical improvements to the platform. You will develop a deep understanding of the business domain and actively participate in discussions with business partners and external parties. The goal is to deliver high-quality, timely, well-tested, cost-effective, and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet both functional and non-functional business requirements. You will also actively work towards engineering best practices such as code, design, and test reviews, cloud strategy, and build and deployment pipelines. This role requires you to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high risks and high rewards.

Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of development experience
• Proficient in Java, Serenity Cucumber, Playwright automation
• Jira and Jira Align experience required
• Experience working in an Agile/Kanban squad
• Having excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time
• Thrive in a team environment, collaborating openly and actively help with work being completed
• Ability to act independently under general direction
• Should be a team player
• Should be able to handle millions of data and analyze it efficiently
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Experience with handling large data, data analysis
• Proficient in Java, Python, Spring, and RESTful services
• Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment
• Expert level knowledge of SQL, system design, data structures, and algorithms

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines a plus
• Experience working in the financial Industry is a plus
• Experience working in the KDB is a plus
• Experience with a modern UI framework such as React, Angular or Vue is a plus
• Experience AWS, CI/CD, ES6, React or SASS is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with product owner, squad lead and architecture as required to influence technical improvements to the platform
• Collaborating and coordinating with other squads and chapters
