Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
PointOne is an AI revenue platform for professional services and a venture-backed startup. The Senior Software Engineer will develop novel AI products that provide customers with new workflows, work directly with customers to understand their needs and translate requests into technical solutions, and help shape the engineering culture through mentoring, pairing, and code reviews. The role is intended for someone excited to work in person, talk with customers, and drive the development of new AI tools. Compensation depends on factors including prior experience and expertise, and includes a competitive equity component.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience at hyper-growth startups and/or leading big tech companies.
- A computer science degree from a top university.
- Strong product sense.
- A high degree of ownership and the ability to operate autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel AI products that provide customers with entirely new workflows.
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs, prioritize requests, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor future hires, pair with teammates, and conduct code reviews.
- Help shape the engineering culture.
