About The Position

Defines, designs, and develops control systems, diagnostics, and controller communications for the Propulsion Thermal ART in the Vehicle Mechatronic Embedded Controls (VMEC) organization. Develops software and controls to manage integrated thermal loops and optimize energy use and thermal storage capacity. Participates in developing controls and diagnostics in an agile environment using VMEC methods, and serves as a subject matter expert for the Scrum team’s content. Works with Program Management to refine the Program Vision, Roadmap, and Program Backlog, and with the System Architect to determine enablers and coordinate their rollout. Coordinates dependencies with other Product Owners, maintains and prioritizes the Team Backlog, and works with the Scrum Team Leader to assess team capacity. Translates product and feature strategy into User Stories and supports story definition, estimation, and sequencing for Program Increment Planning. Works with Scrum Teams to clarify requirements and align on product or feature strategy. Defines acceptance criteria for Behavior-Driven and Test-Driven Development; advises on system demonstration and testing strategies; and verifies that stories are testable and can generate testing objectives. Ensures features are validated and tested before End User Acceptance, maintains technical integrity, and confirms stories meet acceptance criteria, include appropriate persistent acceptance tests, and comply with the Definition of Done. Accepts stories, participates in demonstrations and retrospectives, provides feedback, and coaches Scrum Team members. Participates in Program Increment Planning, Iteration Retrospectives, ART Inspect and Adapt sessions, and PO/ART synchronizations. The role follows a hybrid work policy: three days in the office and two days remote. The employee must be able to report to a local office.

  • Three years of experience verifying functionality through embedded ECU testing on machines and test benches using dSPACE HIL, Vector CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAT ET tools.
  • Three years of experience creating automated test scripts for machine-level features using C and Python.
  • Three years of experience creating CANalyzer databases to parse software CAN communication data.
  • Three years of experience designing and developing Machine Plant, Input/Output (I/O), and Controller Area Network (CAN) simulation models using MATLAB and Simulink.
