About The Position
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, Go, Python, and AWS to join a team working within the connected‑vehicle domain. In this role, you will contribute to backend services that enable critical vehicle‑related journeys such as stolen vehicle tracking, emergency services, roadside assistance, vehicle positioning, and call‑center operations. As part of the team, you’ll work with cloud-based services, APIs, integrations, databases, and monitoring. Current initiatives include improving position handling for vehicle services, supporting new vehicle launches and customer rollouts, developing global assignment capabilities, migrating customer-care solutions, and strengthening alarm management through PagerDuty. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization, supporting solutions used by leading automotive brands worldwide. The team is responsible for the entire service lifecycle, from design and development to testing, production rollout, monitoring, support, and continuous improvement. Requirements
- Strong experience with Go and Python
- Strong experience with Java
- Experience working with AWS
- DevOps mindset and experience with monitoring, vulnerability management, and operational excellence
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Experience interacting with customers and stakeholders
- Experience supporting technical integrations
- Experience working with legacy systems
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

- Prefer working from the office, with an on-site presence of 3-4 days per week during onboarding and at least 2-3 days per week thereafter.
