About The Position

Zero Hash is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build new features and scale its gateway to Finance 2.0. The role contributes to the design and development of software in an event-driven microservices environment, develops microservices in Golang, and works with platform engineers to set up new services. The engineer also responds to production issues and alerts and, when needed, communicates directly with client technical teams. The position suits a technically deep, detail-oriented, resourceful teammate who is eager to learn new technologies and complex systems and builds resiliency and scalability into the platform.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience, preferably in the FinTech space.
Deep proficiency with Golang.
Understanding of SQL and database schema design.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses and solve problems without well-defined direction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A humble, resourceful, get-it-done mindset and ability to work effectively from 0 to 1.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Experience at a banking-as-a-service, brokerage-as-a-service, or payment-as-a-service business.
Experience with digital assets.
