About The Position

Red Ventures Growth & Transformation builds the technology that powers digital transformation for some of the most recognized financial services brands in the world. Red Ventures has spent 15+ years partnering with industry leaders across telecom, financial services, education, and more. And now we're now rebuilding how we work, ship, and create leverage in the age of AI. We're hiring a Senior Engineer to help lead that shift. This is a role for someone who can walk into ambiguity, figure out what matters, and build the structure that didn't exist before they got there. You'll have meaningful ownership, real autonomy, and a direct hand in defining what "great" looks like in this new paradigm.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building production software, with broad exposure across front-end and back-end. We care less about your specific stack than the breadth of systems you've seen and the patterns you've learned to recognize.
  • A track record of stepping into messy situations and leaving structure behind you.
  • Demonstrable AI fluency. The ideal candidate would have experience working on a team whose throughput looks different today because of how they've adopted AI.
  • Strong opinions on ownership, accountability, and what high performance actually looks like in an engineering team — and the experience to back them up.
  • Comfortable taking a clear position and defending it, even when it cuts against the room.
  • Excellent collaboration with designers, analysts, and business stakeholders. You can translate fluently in both directions.

Nice To Haves

  • You've mentored or led engineers.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar enterprise marketing technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery on initiatives that matter, from scoping and architecture through code, quality assurance, launch, monitoring, and post-launch iteration cycles.
  • Partner directly with designers, analysts, and client stakeholders to shape what gets built and why.
  • Review code, lead design discussions, and raise the engineers around you through the way you work day-to-day.
  • Diagnose systemic issues — in the codebase, in tooling, in process — and own the work that fixes them.
  • Develop and spread AI-native engineering practices on your team: agents, custom tooling, codebase automation, and the workflows that make them stick.
  • Track outcomes against quantitative and qualitative KPIs, and use what you learn to make the team better.
