Robinhood is building an elite team to apply frontier technologies to the world's biggest financial problems. The Load and Fault team, within Robinhood's Developer Infrastructure organization, is responsible for providing engineering teams with the tools to test their services under real-world conditions before they are tested in production. This involves building platforms and frameworks for load testing, fault injection, and resilience validation at scale. The team treats reliability as a developer productivity problem and works closely with engineering teams to integrate resilience testing into the development workflow. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will design and build the infrastructure for simulating load, injecting faults, and validating system behavior under stress at the scale of a fast-growing financial platform. You will own components of the load testing and fault injection platform, write production-quality code, and collaborate with engineers across infrastructure and product teams to drive adoption and improve reliability. This is a high-impact individual contributor role shaping how Robinhood builds resilient systems. This role is based in the Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Robinhood believes in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community.
