About The Position

ServiceNow is seeking a motivated, experienced Software Engineer to join a dynamic team developing customer-facing AI Developer products. The role focuses on applied AI, developer-experience-centered products and frameworks, and the NodeJS/TypeScript ecosystem. The engineer will build scalable, reusable software, contribute to product design and development, and own code through design, implementation, test automation, and delivery.

Requirements

Experience leveraging or critically considering how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, such as through AI-powered tools, workflow automation, AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact.
At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS.
Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization.
Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
Analytical and design skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Java.
Experience with a modern UI framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.

Responsibilities

Build clean, high-quality, scalable, reusable code and follow software engineering best practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
Work with product owners to understand requirements and own code from design through implementation, test automation, and delivery.
Implement simple-to-use software that enables customers to extend and customize functionality for their needs.
Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features and enhance the existing product suite.
Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing.
