About The Position

Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers. Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Raleigh, NC. This is an individual contributor role. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a similar occupation involving software engineering experience.
  • Experience with Core Salesforce Development Skills
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components
  • Experience with Lightning Design System (SLDS) for responsive UI development
  • Experience with Apex Programming
  • Experience with Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, and Test Classes
  • Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
  • Experience with Platform Events, Push Topics, Change Data Capture (CDC), and External Services
  • Experience with REST and SOAP API implementation
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Experience with AppExchange, Change Sets, and Deployment Strategies

Responsibilities

  • Drive moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
  • Drive projects.
