About The Position

Leidos has an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in their Intel Sector, focusing on Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. The LOE program aims to provide optimal solutions for the customer's Operations organization through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research. This includes developing leading-edge visualizations, analytic development, and enhancing machine learning to discover new data sources and tradecraft for intelligence questions. The role is in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, ideal for professional growth and making a significant impact on National Security. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation, specifically supporting a lab environment where customers develop and test experiments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus eleven (11) to fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
  • Strong development experience in a variety of languages (ex., java, python)
  • Experience in integrating with customers’ cloud-based data systems
  • Experience installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop capabilities designed to help solve common problems arising from various analyst offices
  • Prototype development to extend enterprise services, support analytics, enhance machine learning, and develop commercial cloud solutions
  • Support the integration and evaluation of open source, emerging technologies, and new COTS applications
  • Work directly with customers, developers, or data scientists to gather requirements and feedback
  • Install, configure, develop, and integrate prototype applications for technical evaluation
  • Support a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments
