Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
SRC, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Electronic Warfare & Services Division. The selected candidate will work closely with a government customer to advance data analysis tools using cutting-edge technology. The role is part of a cross-functional Agile software development team and includes participation across the software development lifecycle, building new products and services, solving ambiguous problems, and mentoring less experienced engineers. The position is full-time and salaried, based in Fairborn, Ohio, with 10% travel. Candidates must meet security clearance eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think independently, and overcome technical challenges.
- Experience with some of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, Python, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, GitLab, or ETL (Extract/Transform/Load).
- Understanding of cloud-native and microservice architectures.
- Familiarity with software unit testing.
- Ability and desire to work on multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must meet security clearance eligibility requirements.

- An active TS/SCI clearance.
