About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with product owners, engineering teams, and technical leads on our next generation data feed platform. This role is primarily focused on building Python-based data pipelines and file-based data delivery systems on AWS. You'll also contribute to building web interfaces for monitoring and configuration of our data feeds. You will architect and implement solutions for delivering data in various file formats (CSV, Parquet, JSON) to clients through S3, SFTP, and Cloud Data Marketplaces such as Snowflake Marketplace, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet enterprise-grade SLAs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, with 5+ years of software or data engineering experience.
  • Experience in Python for building data pipelines, ETL processes, and backend services.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) including experience with compute, storage, and serverless services for cloud-native data pipelines.
  • Experience working with file-based data formats (CSV, Parquet, JSON) and designing reliable data delivery solutions.
  • Familiarity with SQL and experience with modern development practices (Git, CI/CD, automated testing).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Vue.js, React, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries with strict data quality and SLA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Python-based data pipelines on AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, ECS) for scalable file-based feed generation and delivery.
  • Design file delivery mechanisms supporting multiple formats (CSV, Parquet, JSON) with appropriate partitioning, compression, and encryption strategies.
  • Implement data quality validation, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure reliable feed delivery.
  • Contribute to migrating legacy feed products to AWS cloud-native architecture and participate in DevOps practices including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate on building web interfaces for feed monitoring and configuration — willingness to learn and contribute is more important than deep front-end expertise.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and production support.

Benefits

  • 12.5% Annual Incentive Target
  • Hybrid work environment (four days in-office)
  • Tools and resources to engage meaningfully with global colleagues
