About The Position
TubeScience is a rapidly expanding performance video company that leverages data, AI, and creative systems to produce video advertising at an unprecedented scale and speed. Our engineering team is responsible for building the infrastructure that powers these operations, including AI agent pipelines and ad operations tooling that manage substantial client spending. We are a profitable and fast-growing company tackling technically challenging problems. This role is not focused on maintenance but on architecting and deploying systems that directly impact business outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript skills with experience in React, Vue, or Angular, and the ability to justify technology choices.
- Proficiency in Python, with experience shipping production Python services.
- Experience with at least one low-level language (C, C++, Rust, Zig, or equivalent) and understanding of concepts below the abstraction layer.
- Experience building large-scale SaaS platforms from scratch.
- Hands-on cloud deployment and DevOps experience.
- Experience with media pipelines, including transcoding, ffmpeg-like tooling, media transformation, and cloud storage.
- Knowledge of how to instrument and observe distributed systems, including designing for observability.
- Experience with durable, fault-tolerant workflows in production.
- Proficiency in React testing and test automation that effectively identifies issues.

- Experience with React/Next.js, FastAPI/Django/Flask.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis.
- Experience with Temporal/Airflow/Dagster.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.

- Experience shipping agent systems (MCPs, sandboxing, AI agent infrastructure).
- Experience with FinOps at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend applications for ad operations workflows, focusing on scale and complexity for production tools used by operators running large campaigns.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure, including deployment pipelines, monitoring, and autoscaling.
- Build backend services and APIs to support multiple AI agent integrations in production.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring scalability and growth.
- Work closely with engineers and product leads in the US, ensuring meaningful overlap during afternoon hours in the Eastern European timezone (CET/EET).
