About The Position

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer AI to join the CoCounsel team, which builds agentic AI products for legal professionals. The team turns early concepts into scalable, production-ready features. In this role, you will own client architecture for streaming agent interactions, from the React UI through production delivery. You will work on Litigation Drafting products that combine complex workflow interfaces with an advanced legal agent. The interface supports long-running processes with frequent human input and should make demanding drafting tasks intuitive, responsive, and controllable. The role offers opportunities to contribute ideas, try new approaches, learn technologies, and take accountability for end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will build front-end systems for AI agents, help shape front-end architecture and agentic UI design, and productionize AI capabilities through delivery infrastructure, testing, and observability. You will work closely with Labs, product managers, designers, and other engineers, and help develop the team through reviews, design documentation, mentoring, and shared components. The role is hybrid for office-based employees. Eligible US locations have a base compensation range of $102,200–$189,800 USD, with placement based on factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. The role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on enterprise and individual performance.
