Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
Advantage Design Group, a multimedia production and software development firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of their next platform. This role involves approximately 70% coding in C# and .NET and 30% on architecture and design. Key areas of focus include multi-tenancy, data at scale, domain boundaries, messaging, performance, and the long-term evolution of the platform. The engineer will also collaborate with client technical teams to understand and address their needs. The company highlights Jacksonville, Florida, as an attractive location with its beaches, urban park system, St. Johns River, and vibrant arts and food scene, along with the benefit of no personal state income tax.
Requirements
- At least six years of professional C# and .NET development experience, including current hands-on production work.
- Experience contributing to application or platform architecture.
- Strong SQL Server skills and experience building APIs and integrations.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and explain your approach clearly.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications or Microsoft Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred. In lieu of a degree, candidates with at least six years of progressively responsible software engineering experience, including demonstrated expertise in software architecture and the design and development of scalable platforms, will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Design and build production applications in C# and .NET.
- Help shape the architecture of ADG’s next platform, including multi-tenancy, domain boundaries, messaging, and scalability.
- Solve complex SQL Server performance problems and build APIs and client integrations.
- Evaluate technical options and explain the tradeoffs behind your recommendations.
- Work with client technical teams and contribute to the standards our engineering team uses.
