Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. This role focuses on developing robust solutions using Python and AWS, driving best practices across the SDLC, and leveraging emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to trade and risk management systems, and mentor junior engineers while aligning technical delivery with business goals. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with the ability to lead or mentor junior engineers.
- Strong programming expertise in Python (and/or other languages).
- Experience with Machine Learning / Generative AI
- Experience with Prompt Engineering
- Experience with Agentic AI systems
- Experience Writing and maintaining Markdown documentation
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
- Familiarity with AWS Athena
- Familiarity with AWS X-Ray
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with VS Code and modern development environments
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools
