Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Rust or Python OR equivalent experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Rust or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Rust or Python OR equivalent experience
- Experience working on DPU is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Independently applies AI tools and modern engineering practices across the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, quality, and engineering effectiveness
- Leads architectural discussions, evaluates and tests design hypotheses, and develops detailed specifications for complex solutions
- Independently develops comprehensive test strategies that ensure solution quality, reliability, and correctness. Reviews product code to ensure sufficient test coverage, engineering quality, and adherence to established coding and design standards
- Collaborates effectively across internal and external teams to identify dependencies, resolve technical issues, and drive alignment toward shared goals
- Writes extensible, maintainable, well-tested, secure, and performant production quality code
- Uses debugging, diagnostic, and engineering tools to validate assumptions, identify root causes, and continuously improve code and system quality. Implements security standards and drives security hardening across solutions, ensuring defense in depth and appropriate security at every layer
