Senior Software Engineer – Miter
About The Position
Miter builds software for construction and field services and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help scale its platform. This is a full-time hybrid role based in New York City or San Francisco, with in-person work required four days per week, Monday through Thursday. The engineer will build and maintain full-stack features, design scalable APIs and services, collaborate with product, design, and data teams, optimize performance and reliability, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architecture decisions. The position offers a salary of $190,000–$230,000 and the opportunity to transform construction software.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack skills, including TypeScript, React, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Experience with databases and cloud services.
- Must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Must work in person four days per week in New York City or San Francisco.
