About The Position

Lantern is looking for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-growing Member Experience team. In this role, you will build and evolve our core member-facing platforms across web, mobile, and backend services, helping deliver scalable, reliable experiences that improve how our members interact with Lantern's services. Location: Hybrid - at least 3 days/wk in our Dallas office located at 2100 Ross Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75201 Current Tech Stack: Web Platform: TypeScript, with an emphasis on scalable front-end architecture, reusable components, and strong member experience. Mobile Platform: React Native for member-facing mobile experiences. Backend and APIs: .NET / C# services that power core member workflows and integrations. Styling and UI: Tailwind CSS and NativeWind for consistent, modern interface development. Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure for cloud services, hosting, integration, and operational support. AI-Enabled: AI-Enabled development, applications and workflow

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software in product-focused environments.
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern front-end development.
  • Experience building and supporting production-grade applications using React Native.
  • Experience building or integrating backend solutions using .NET / C# and working with applications that run on Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Tailwind CSS and/or NativeWind, reusable component patterns, and polished user experience implementation.
  • Experience working across front-end, mobile, APIs, integrations, and cloud environments in a collaborative product team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own member-facing functionality across our web application, mobile app, and supporting backend services from design through release.
  • Contribute to sound technical design decisions and help maintain standards for architecture, performance, accessibility, testability, and maintainability.
  • Partner on reusable business logic, design consistency, and seamless experiences across web and mobile platforms where it adds value.
  • Build and integrate solutions with .NET / C# services and Microsoft Azure to deliver secure, reliable, observable, and scalable systems.
  • Translate product requirements into thoughtful technical solutions that improve navigation, engagement, and service for Lantern members.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring while helping raise the quality bar across the team.
