Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent field.
- 4+ years Java development experience.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Expertise with Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience implementing SSO solutions such as SAML and OpenID.
- MySQL or other RDBMS.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and helps to define the product design.
- Comfortable working in an agile development process.
- Must like dogs (they are in the office, everyday).
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software solutions such as service APIs and web applications.
- Write efficient, reusable, and modular code.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
- Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Ensure that the software architecture is scalable, maintainable, and meets security standards.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address issues in the codebase.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
- Analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to project planning, prioritization, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with team members, business partners, and stakeholders.
- Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Implement and follow security best practices in software development.
