Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent field.
  • 4+ years Java development experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Expertise with Spring and Hibernate.
  • Experience implementing SSO solutions such as SAML and OpenID.
  • MySQL or other RDBMS.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and helps to define the product design.
  • Comfortable working in an agile development process.
  • Must like dogs (they are in the office, everyday).
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain software solutions such as service APIs and web applications.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and modular code.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
  • Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
  • Ensure that the software architecture is scalable, maintainable, and meets security standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and address issues in the codebase.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
  • Analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to project planning, prioritization, and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, business partners, and stakeholders.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Implement and follow security best practices in software development.
