Senior Software Engineer

May work remotely or telecommute to company HQ in Draper, UT. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop and deliver high-quality optimally functioning software solutions. They will analyze and select appropriate technology that meets user needs while being scalable, efficient, and secure, while following company and industry best practices. This role involves writing and implementing efficient clean code that meets stated requirements while adhering to company, compliance, and security standards. The engineer will drive quality with a shift-left testing approach, including implementing automated unit testing, and partner to support various testing solutions for unit, functional, load and integration testing early and throughout the software development lifecycle. They will troubleshoot, debug, maintain and upgrade existing software, including suggesting improvements that lead to better solutions. The role requires delivering solutions in an agile collaborative workplace with others including Product Owners, analysts, designers, testers, agile coaches, leadership and architects. The engineer will also maintain and grow technical skills, knowledge and currency via online, printed or in person trainings and seminars, and collaborate with peers via formal and informal channels such as Guilds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Technical Field
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
- Demonstrated experience with Relational Database Management Systems including SQL server and Oracle
- Demonstrated experience with .NET, C#, and SQL
- Demonstrated experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, WCF, SQL Server, Open API/Swagger and Entity Framework
- Demonstrated experience with AzureDevOps for automated lifecycle management and Git source code version control system
- Demonstrated experience with Code productivity, quality and testing tools including ReSharper and NCrunch
