About The Position

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role is responsible for implementing access controls and permission mechanisms that secure access to critical high-performance computing (HPC) system resources through robust permission management, while ensuring compliance with Agency security policies and industry standards. This is a full-time position requiring a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph clearance.

Requirements

TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
Experience using the Linux command-line interface.
Proficiency in Bash scripting to automate tasks and processes.
Experience developing software solutions using Python.
Experience implementing RBAC/ABAC for HPC systems.
Experience with advanced Linux security administration, including PAM, SELinux, file permissions, ACLs, and audit logging.
Experience developing IAM solutions using Keycloak.
Experience implementing identity federation and SSO using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.
Experience developing and maintaining HashiCorp Vault secret-management integrations.
Experience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate automation of HPC hardware and software provisioning.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd.
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including GitLab CI.
Experience with the Git source control system.

Responsibilities

Implement access controls and permission mechanisms to secure access to critical HPC system resources.
Manage permissions robustly and ensure compliance with Agency security policies and industry standards.
Develop Ansible playbooks to automate provisioning of HPC hardware and software components.
Develop and maintain secret-management integrations using HashiCorp Vault.
