About The Position

Fiserv is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that support its business goals and client needs. The role works with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into technical specifications and deliver reliable solutions. It also involves maintaining existing code, leading peer reviews, and mentoring junior developers. Responsibilities may be modified and are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in software development.
At least 6 months of direct experience with Fiserv's internal systems.
At least 3 years of experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
At least 3 years of experience with SQL databases.
At least 3 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience.
Must possess U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident (Green Card) status.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the financial services industry.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Code, test, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and improve existing codebases.
Lead peer review processes.
