About The Position

Coforma is seeking a curious, conscientious, and fast-learning Senior Software Engineer to join its growing, distributed team supporting a federal government client. The role contributes to the technical vision and strategy of products and works across engineering, design, product, and program management, as well as directly with end users and external client stakeholders. The engineer will build and operate production services, improve engineering quality, and help incrementally modernize the platform by extracting capabilities from Dynamics into well-tested Azure services that can be maintained by a broader group of engineers. This is a full-time, US-based remote position open to residents of specified states. Some travel may be required for project meetings, workshops, and trainings with advance notice. Candidates must reside in the contiguous United States, be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, and be able to pass a Public Trust background check and applicable project checks. The role requires maintaining reliable internet access and strong security practices while handling company and client information. Compensation is $150,235.80–$169,146.60 per year, with placement at one of three competency-based tiers. The posted salary range and tier salaries are non-negotiable. The selected engineer will work with C#/.NET, Azure Government, Dynamics 365/Dataverse, and a complex set of system integrations, while translating product and policy requirements into maintainable solutions. They will document architecture and trade-offs, adhere to client governance and security standards, mentor engineers, and support production issue analysis and resolution.
