Senior Software Engineer, AI Developer Tools
About The Position
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build local AI applications, maximize accelerated hardware capabilities, and create tools for deploying and managing local AI systems. The role contributes to a new way for people to interact with PCs and connected devices through local AI. Working with UX and UI designers, product managers, and other engineers, the engineer will develop intuitive features and workflows for connecting devices, running AI models locally, and using AI agents. The work brings these capabilities together in a unified application across Windows, Linux, and macOS, designed for both people and agents.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in Go.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience building complex APIs, CLIs, or applications.
- Experience with agent-driven software development.
- Excellent interpersonal, social, and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with inference engines and frameworks.
- Experience with local AI hardware platforms.
- Self-motivated, collaborative colleague with strong interpersonal skills.
