This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $45.00 - $78.00 USD.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Extensive experience with software design, architectural patterns, and developing scalable systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with social media platform APIs, data analytics tools, or machine learning would be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions that support our core recruitment business.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of new features and systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to enhance performance and user experience.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organisation.
