About The Position

Kodiak Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its product engineering team and contribute to technology-driven solutions for healthcare finance, unclaimed property, risk management, and revenue cycle management. The role involves working across the application stack to design, develop, test, and maintain modern enterprise software in a mature Agile environment. The engineer will collaborate with other software engineers, technical leaders, product owners, and stakeholders. This is a remote position that can be performed from home.

Requirements

Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, system design, RESTful APIs, and NoSQL database management.
Strong understanding of n-tier/layered application architecture.
At least 7 years of experience with C# and .NET in an enterprise environment.
At least 5 years of JavaScript development and front-end work with Angular or React.
Experience with at least one modern front-end framework.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
Experience designing and working with relational or document databases.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Ability to understand existing systems and contribute effectively to an established codebase.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Nice To Haves

Experience with document databases, particularly RavenDB or MongoDB.
Experience developing Single Page Applications (SPAs).
Experience with React, Ember.js, or Angular.
Experience working with RESTful APIs and service-oriented application architectures.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise software applications.
Develop solutions within n-tier architecture, including presentation, business/service, and data-access layers.
Build and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
Develop responsive, maintainable user interfaces using JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
Design, develop, and optimize database solutions.
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following established development standards.
Troubleshoot application issues and identify effective technical solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with engineers and team members to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
Contribute to technical documentation and clearly communicate implementation decisions.
