About The Position

Product engineers at Pave build the core workflows and experiences that power how companies plan, execute, and communicate all aspects of compensation. You will be leading projects and building features that are at the forefront of compensation intelligence. You'll work closely with Product and Design to ship features used daily by compensation teams, managers, and employees at companies like OpenAI, Databricks, and Atlassian. This team moves fast, iterates based on direct customer feedback, and owns their work end-to-end.

Requirements

5+ years of full-stack, backend, or frontend engineering experience.
Experience with modern web technologies such as TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience building data-intensive applications.
Strong product intuition: translate customer needs and feedback into sound technical decisions, and know when to move fast versus invest in robust architecture.
Proven ability to break ambiguous, complex problems into concrete milestones and drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
Technical leadership: influence design decisions across the team, mentor other engineers, and bring people along through clear reasoning.
Execution-driven mindset: thrive in fast-paced environments and ship thoughtful solutions without overengineering.
