The Marketing Enablement & Technology (MET) team is part of Instacart's Marketing organization. This team is responsible for building the systems, APIs, and data pipelines that power Instacart's Paid Marketing channels, which are a significant growth driver for the company. The team operates at the intersection of Marketing, Product, and Engineering, owning platforms for campaign feeds, audience targeting, event pipelines, and QA automation. The specific role is for a Senior Software Engineer within the Paid MarTech pod, focusing on architecting and scaling backend services and ETL processes. These processes are crucial for enabling marketing campaign execution, conversion tracking, and third-party integrations across various paid media channels including Paid Social, Display, SEM, Online Video, Linear Television, and Streaming Audio. The engineer will lead projects from start to finish, guide technical direction, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product leadership to shape technical and product strategy.
