About The Position
Applied Intuition is seeking a senior engineer to own and maintain its HD maps infrastructure. The product suite uses HD maps for various applications, including calculating localized information, querying global-sized maps, and visualizing/inspecting maps. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of maps by collaborating with engineers and customers.
Requirements
- Experience building software components or (sub) systems that address real-world mapping and localization challenges
- 2+ years of experience developing in C++ or Python
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with either autonomous vehicles or simulation products
Responsibilities
- Own our maps infrastructure across all of our products
- Define our map storage format to handle more features and distribute map data focusing on UIs, data pipelines and storage, and SDKs
- Collaborate with engineers and customers on existing and future designs and features
