About the position
Fathom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure to join their remote team in Poland. The company's mission is to use AI to analyze and structure medical data, starting with clinician notes in electronic health records. The role involves leading the way in devops and security, utilizing strong software engineering experience and cloud service mastery to design, deploy, and monitor the operational aspects of Fathom's platform. The responsibilities include ensuring stability, security, and performance, developing internal tools for machine learning and software engineers, and maintaining and configuring internal development and access control systems.
Responsibilities
- Working to ensure the stability, security, and performance of Fathom's platform
- Developing dependable internal tools that aid machine learning and software engineers in infrastructure deployment, continuous integration, and testing
- Maintaining and configuring internal development and access control systems
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to identify strategic long-term projects and preempt in
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience
- Cloud service mastery
- Experience in devops and security
- Comfortable operating with autonomy
- Ability to design, deploy, and monitor all operational aspects of a platform
- Working knowledge of stability, security, and performance of a platform
- Proficiency in developing internal tools for machine learning and software engineers
- Experience in infrastructure deployment, continuous integration, and testing
- Familiarity with maintaining and configuring internal development and access control systems
- Collaboration skills with product and engineering teams for strategic long-term projects

- Daily rate range: $400 - $600 USD
