About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will help build and evolve the Store, Menu Serving, and Menu Management platforms. You will contribute to system architecture and implementation while supporting code quality, consistency, and feature delivery across the team. You will work with front-end engineering teams integrating with your APIs and partner with Product and Design to plan, scope, and deliver menu management capabilities. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership through collaboration, code review, and mentorship.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in GraphQL and/or REST API development.
Proficiency in Golang.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Proficiency with containerized services using Docker.

Nice To Haves

Experience with distributed workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal or Cadence.
Experience with AWS S3.
Familiarity with Node.js and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, or with mobile platforms such as iOS or Android.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable GraphQL services in Go.
Write and maintain high-quality unit and integration tests.
Improve and refactor existing systems to enhance performance, readability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering partners during planning and backlog grooming to shape and own technical solutions.
Provide timely code reviews and technical guidance to peers.
Participate in team ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to support delivery and remove blockers.
