Senior Software Engineer (Guidewire)
About The Position
Norima Consulting is expanding its Guidewire practice and is seeking experienced Guidewire certified Developers to support the design and delivery of Guidewire solutions within client environments. The role requires technical depth, consulting instincts, and the ability to navigate complex delivery environments. While experience across all modules is not necessary, strong depth in at least one module combined with the right mindset is desired. The position involves supporting clients on Guidewire projects, performing hands-on development, translating business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating with delivery teams and client stakeholders, and coordinating with onshore and offshore team members.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development within P&C insurance technology or consulting environments
- 5+ years hands-on Guidewire experience across one or more modules — PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, ContactManager, Digital Portals, or Guidewire Data Platform
- Guidewire Certification required
- Expertise in at least one of the following: configurations, integrations, or data and migration
- Strong communication and leadership skills in client-facing projects
- A consultative, collaborative mindset with a focus on quality and outcomes
Nice To Haves
- Ace certification highly desirable
- Applications from those with Specialist and/or Associate designations will still be considered
- Ideally aligned to recent platform versions (within latest 1-2 releases)
Responsibilities
- Support clients on Guidewire projects involving configurations, integrations, migrations, and full implementations
- Perform hands-on development and technical problem-solving within Guidewire environments
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with delivery teams and client stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes
- Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore team members
