About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work across the full technology stack to design, build, and scale a cloud-based analytics platform used by expert financial professionals. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to transform complex workflows into intuitive software solutions. This role offers significant ownership—from shaping architecture and defining data models to implementing features and optimizing performance. The engineering team values clean architecture, thoughtful product design, and building software that performs reliably in real-world, high-stakes environments.

Requirements

7+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js
Experience building modern front-end applications with React
Deep understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design
Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs
Ability to write efficient, high-performance SQL queries
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
A product mindset—thinking about user impact and usability, not just code correctness

Experience working with advanced JavaScript data-grid or spreadsheet libraries
Background building data-intensive or computation-heavy applications
Interest in financial analytics, fintech, or investment platforms

Responsibilities

Lead technical projects from early concept through production deployment
Design scalable services, APIs, and data models supporting complex analytics workflows
Build modern front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript
Develop backend services using Node.js and GraphQL
Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL
Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive, high-impact features
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and development processes
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
Evaluate new technologies that strengthen platform performance and developer experience
