About The Position

Magenta is transforming how manufacturing operates. Manufacturing teams lose enormous amounts of time to documentation, reviews, compliance steps, supplier packages, work instructions, quality records, and process handoffs. Magenta helps those teams move faster by automating the document heavy work that slows production down. Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack development.
Strong backend skills (Python, Node.js, or similar) with experience building APIs and distributed systems.
Proficiency in frontend development (React, TypeScript, or similar).
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Solid knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL).
Strong product sense: you care about usability as much as performance.
Willingness to work in-office from El Segundo, CA.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ML/AI systems, enterprise integrations, or manufacturing/industrial data.

Responsibilities

Build and scale backend systems, APIs, and data integrations.
Work with cutting-edge AI technologies
Develop modern, user-friendly frontend applications (React, TypeScript, or similar).
Work closely with design to deliver seamless user experiences.
Collaborate across product, engineering, and AI teams to ship full features.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code across the stack.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and best practices.
