You take ownership of your work end-to-end, raise the technical bar for those around you, and enjoy mentoring less experienced engineers while continuing to grow your own craft. Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with solid knowledge of both backend and frontend technologies
Strong algorithmic and problem-solving ability
Working knowledge of system design and common architectural patterns
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and DevOps workflows
Solid experience with service implementation in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with data at scale
Strong proficiency with JavaScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks
Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query) and frontend performance considerations
Hands-on experience with ES2015+, TypeScript, Webpack, Jest, Tailwind, and TDD practices
Experience building responsive, accessible, and visually polished UI
Work must be performed within the United States by individuals authorized to work in the U.S. and who are U.S. citizens.
Requires working from the Austin office three days a week.

Responsibilities

Independently design and build scalable, reliable full stack features and services spanning backend and frontend
Lead technical design discussions for medium-to-large features and drive sound architectural decisions
Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in an agile environment to scope, plan, and deliver work
Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold high standards for performant, maintainable code across the stack
Mentor associate and mid-level engineers on technical best practices and help guide their growth
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security concerns
Own features end-to-end — from design and development through deployment and operational support
Identify and help prioritize technical debt to support long-term maintainability
