Senior Software Development Engineer - Operational Analytics
About The Position
Designs, develops, and maintains full-stack web applications and services supporting data-driven business solutions at scale. Solves complex problems independently, applying deep technical expertise and business understanding. Leads initiatives of moderate to large scope, providing technical direction and mentoring junior team members. Architects frontend interfaces and backend services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless integration across systems. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches and deliver scalable solutions. Drives application observability through logging, alerting, and performance monitoring strategies. Champions code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience with Frontend development using React.js and Node.js
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and server-side logic using Python (FastAPI, Flask)
- Hands-on experience with Databases (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner, or Postgres)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for automated build, test, and deployment
- Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Version control (Git)
- Working knowledge of Pub/sub messaging patterns (PubSub, Kafka) for real-time data processing
- Working knowledge of Unit, regression, and integration testing; automated testing frameworks
- Working knowledge of Agile development practices
- Experience using AI assistants in software development workflows
Nice To Haves
- Experience optimizing application performance using caching techniques (Redis)
- Experience integrating LLMs and AI technologies to enhance system intelligence and automation
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code or cloud-native architectures
- Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Healthcare industry experience a plus
