We are seeking a VP‑level Senior Software Developer to lead development and implementation of analytics tools and APIs for quants and portfolio managers. You will provide technical leadership while remaining hands‑on:

Requirements

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
10+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production‑grade systems.
Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive hands‑on experience using Pandas and SQL in production environments.
Solid experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Proven experience building and operating distributed systems or large‑scale data processing platforms.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Results‑oriented mindset with the flexibility to take on multiple responsibilities and deliver under time pressure.
Direct experience working with quantitative teams or strong familiarity with quantitative workflows.

Nice To Haves

Front‑end development experience, including JavaScript and modern UI frameworks.
Additional depth in large‑scale distributed architectures and performance‑critical systems.
Broader experience across cloud services and infrastructure tooling beyond core AWS usage.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and deploy scalable front‑end applications, high‑performance backend services, and APIs
Translate quantitative and portfolio‑manager requirements into robust technical designs and delivery plans
Collaborate closely with engineers, quants, and portfolio managers to define scope, priorities, and solutions
Own production delivery, system reliability, and incident response
Lead by example through hands‑on development and technical decision‑making
Mentor and support peers, contributing to engineering best practices and a strong development culture
